Mirsonia joined the Motopia family in December 2018. Originally from Puerto Rico she came to the Bay Area in and worked for Ferrari of San Francisco as the Marketing Director and Event Coordinator. She started riding motorcycles when she was young and fell in the love with the sense of freedom it gave her, her first bike was a ! When she’s not busy making Motopia great you can probably find her working up a sweat at the gym, painting, and spending time with her family.
Amanda brought her wealth of knowledge about motorcycles to Motopia in 2016 and since then has become an integral part of what has made Motopia so special over the years. A long time bay area resident and motorcycle enthusiast she says one of the best things about motorcycles is the sense of community it offers “some of nicest people I’ve ever met.” In her free time she loves to attend EDM shows and music festivals.
Kytra joined Motopia in early 2018. A native of Canada, she moved to the Bay Area in 2003. Along with her, she brings her passion for motorcycles and the lifestyle that it comes with it. “I grew up riding with my dad and learning to ride on my own has given us something to bond over; as well as the freedom I feel being able to drop gears and open up on the road. Riding is such a stress release for me as well as a dream come true.” When she’s not at Motopia or riding her motorcycle she likes to check out new local breweries, play first person shooter games and work on my own motorcycle. She’s currently rebuilding and changing her Kawasaki ninja 250, and purchasing a 06 GSXR750 soon!
Fernando, AKA Fern, joined Motopia in February 2018. He's been riding motorcycles for over twenty years currently riding a BMW R9T and a BMW R90s. But when it's time to get dirty he's twisting throttle on his Husqvarna FE 450 . His sales experience comes from over fifteen years in the bicycle industry. He loves riding motorcycles because “I enjoy the passion that the people who make them put into them. Every bike has a unique personality, and I like getting to know them just like I like getting to know new people.” Outside of work, he loves hanging with his two dogs Max and Bane and expanding his knowledge of the humanities.
Garrett previously worked at Marin Acura but his love of motorcycles led him to Motopia as a Technician for our Service Department. His favorite thing about motorcycles is the “euphoric feeling that disconnects you from all problems or fears.” When he’s not at Motopia you’ll likely find him working on something with an engine or a circuit board.
Tim joined Motopia at the beginning of 2019. With a background in auto mechanics he eventually got to turn his longtime love of motorcycles into his career focus. Tim loves to go fast and when he’s not at Motopia you’ll find him rebuilding his 1998 yzf 600r Thundercat. “Birtha's old and heavy but being over 20 years old and still able to get up to 165, just shows she still got it.”
